We do not work with factories. We work with artisans — craftspeople who have dedicated their lives to the art of silversmithing and stone setting. People who measure precision not by machines, but by eye and touch.
A Disappearing Craft
Handmade silversmithing is a skill that takes years to learn and a lifetime to master. In a world where mass production has made everything faster, cheaper, and more disposable, the artisans we work with have chosen a different path.
They still work the way it has always been done — cutting silver by hand, shaping it piece by piece, setting each stone individually. It is slower. It requires more skill. And it produces something that no machine ever could — a piece of jewelry with a soul.
What They Do
Every piece that carries the ArtsySilverCrafts name passes through multiple stages of skilled handwork.
Metalworking Raw 925 sterling silver is cut, shaped, and formed by hand — bent into rings, drawn into pendants, built into settings that will hold a stone securely for decades.
Soldering Joints are sealed with precision using a torch and solder. This is where the structure of a piece comes together. Done wrong, it shows. Done right, it lasts a lifetime.
Stone Setting This is where patience matters most. Each natural gemstone is placed by hand into its setting — pressed, secured, and checked. No two stones sit exactly the same way because no two stones are exactly the same.
Finishing Filing, sanding, polishing. The final stage is where a rough piece becomes something beautiful. Done by hand, it takes time. That time is what you feel when you hold the finished piece.
