Care & Sizing Guide

Silver Care

925 sterling silver is beautiful, durable, and built to last — but like all precious metals, it needs a little care to stay that way.

Why Silver Tarnishes Sterling silver reacts naturally with moisture, skin oils, and sulphur compounds in the air. Tarnishing is completely normal and entirely reversible. It does not mean your piece is low quality — it means it is real silver.

Daily Care

  • Put your jewelry on last, after applying perfume, lotion, and hairspray
  • Wipe each piece with a soft dry cloth after wearing
  • Store in the pouch or box it came in, away from direct sunlight and moisture
  • Keep pieces separated to avoid scratches

Cleaning Your Silver For light tarnish — gently buff with a silver polishing cloth.

For heavier tarnish:

  1. Mix a few drops of mild dish soap with warm water
  2. Soak the piece for 5 minutes
  3. Gently scrub with a soft toothbrush
  4. Rinse thoroughly under clean water
  5. Dry immediately and completely with a soft cloth

What To Avoid

  • Swimming — saltwater and chlorine both damage silver
  • Hot tubs, saunas, and steam rooms
  • Sleeping in rings or necklaces
  • Storing pieces tangled together
  • Harsh chemicals, bleach, or abrasive cleaners
  • Ultrasonic cleaners on pieces with natural gemstones

Gemstone Care

Our pieces are set with natural and semi-precious gemstones. Each stone has its own character and requires gentle handling.

  • Never soak gemstone pieces for long periods — water can loosen settings over time
  • Avoid exposing stones to extreme heat or direct sunlight for prolonged periods — this can fade colour in some stones
  • Never use toothpaste, baking soda, or abrasive materials on gemstone pieces
  • Wipe gemstones with a soft damp cloth only
  • Some stones such as turquoise, opal, and moonstone are more delicate — handle with extra care

Ring Sizing Guide

How To Measure Your Ring Size At Home

  1. Cut a thin strip of paper approximately 1 cm wide
  2. Wrap it snugly around the base of the finger you want to wear the ring on — not too tight, not too loose
  3. Allow a little extra room for your knuckle
  4. Mark where the paper overlaps with a pen
  5. Measure the length in millimetres
  6. Match your measurement to the chart below
